Privacy Policy

Onda (“we”, “us”) operates the crowdsourced mobile coverage map at getonda.net. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account data — if you sign in: email, display name, and authentication tokens.
Location & network measurements — when you use the Onda mobile app or web speedtest: GPS fix, cell identifiers, signal metrics, and speed-test results you choose to submit.
Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps) for security and reliability.
Cookies & local storage — language preference, session tokens, and welcome-modal state stored in your browser.

How we use information

We use data to operate the map, improve tower/sector positioning, authenticate users, prevent abuse, and (for signed-in users) show mapping progress and achievements. We do not sell personal data.

Google AdSense & advertising

Free and anonymous visitors may see ads served by Google AdSense (Google LLC). Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

PRO / Enterprise subscribers do not load the AdSense script on the web map.

Data retention & security

Raw scan events and measurements are retained to build the coverage map. You may request account deletion from the in-app settings. We apply industry-standard safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

Children

Onda is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
